Day Two of our Cotswolds Road Trip:
- Tour of Upton House
- Coffee at the Pavillion cafe on the Upton House estate
- Tour of Upton House
- Drive to Evesham for our afternoon movie experience - Downton Abbey - Grande Finale.
- Back to 1 Home Farm for dinner
We begin our day with coffee at the Pavillion cafe on the Upton Estate grounds and then enter the house for a brief overview of the property. Originally, a 15th century farm estate, it was passed down thru various families to land with the Bearsteds family in 1927. It currently houses the largest private art collection in the UK and has been run as a National Trust property since 1948.
We booked our movie tickets for 2pm, so we drove from the Upton House 45 minutes to Evesham to the Regal Cinema....Fran ordered Marguerita pizzas and Elderflower spritzes to be served to our seats before the performance! She knows how to organize an outing!!!
