Sept 15 - Inverness and the Highlands

We started our day at an Indie Coffee house in Inverness, a short walk from the Glen Mohr hotel.

The cortados, avocado toast, and yoghurt and granola and fruit bowl were perfect.

We had planned to visit the Urquhart Castle ruins, but the parking lot was full and very crowded, so we opted to keep driving through the Highlands looking for the Loch Ness monster and some Highland cattle.

Loch Ness - on a misty rainy day

We looked for Nessie for an hour, then took a selfie and and drove away, disappointed.

We found some friendly Highland cattle on our way back home to Crieff

Half way back to Crieff, we found a lovely cafe in Pitlochry for lunch and coffee
