Sept 21 - Explore more of Chester

The couples split up on this our last day together, to explore different areas of Chester.

Fran and I start with flat whites at Obscure Coffee on Lower Bridge street, then make our way up to the Chester Cathedral where we sit in on the Anglican church service with choir and organ....magical!

After that we walk back to Douglas house to make a lunch of an omlette and coffee.

After lunch we head back out to walk the entire wall of Chester ( about 2 hrs )  then back home to relax before we go to Cote Brasserie for dinner at 6pm...We enjoyed a great dinner at the Cote in York, and this location did not disappoint.

The walk to the Cathedral displays many "Black and Whites" along the way. Tudor era architecture

    1. This is the biggest cathedral we have ever been in - its our second time visiting and still keeps me in awe....and this time we attended the mass - the choir sounded like 60 voices not the 20 who sat in front of us.
